I used DMC perle coton thread #8. This pattern hasseveral colors, so if you want to just make one you will want to only load your shuttle with just a yardor so of thread, so you don't waste thread.

This pattern requires the tatter to know split rings.In case you haven't learned split rings, just do a normalring with the number of stitches and picots indicatedand bring the thread from the back of the ring to the middle picot to start another ring on top of the firstring.
