This is a fairly simple edging, even tho it is wide. The elements
are simple. It consists of 3 separate rows to get the wide edging.
The last two rows are done in a half ring technique where you only
close the ring half way, so as to leave a space of thread(core thread).

ENJOY!!!!

Abbreviations:
R=ring
CH=chain
"-"=picot
"+"=join
RW=reverse work
CLR=close ring

Row #1
R: 3-3-3-3, CLR, RW, leave space of thread
R: 3-3-3-3, CLR, RW, leave space of thread
R: 3+(to last p of prev R)3-3-3, CLR, RW, leave space of thread
Continue to make the zigzag row of rings, joining each ring to its corresponding previous ring
for desired length. Tie and work in ends.

Row #2
In this row, you will be making half rings. So remember not to close the ring all the way.
A good tip is to close the ring more than you think. The core thread will give a little when you
tug on it so that it will make a good half ring.
R: 3+(to free p of R of Row #1)3, CLR(halfway), RW
R: 3-3, CLR, RW
Repeat halfrings for entire length. Tie and work in ends.

Row #3
R: 3+(to free p of R of Row #2)3, CLR(halfway), RW
R: 4-4, CLR, RW
*R: 3+(to free p of next R of Row #2)3, CLR, RW
R: 8-8, CLR, RW
R: 3+(to free p of next R of Row #2)3, CLR, RW
R: 12-12, CLR, RW
R: 3+(to free p of next R of Row #2)3, CLR, RW
R: 8-8, CLR, RW
R: 3+(to free p of R of Row #2)3, CLR(halfway), RW
R: 4-4, CLR, RW
*
Repeat from * to * for the entire length. Tie and work in ends.
