Loading Beads Onto A Picot

This is just one way that I use to load beads onto a long picot. This is in lieu of loading beads onto the shuttle. It basically is using the double picot technique and adding beads before joining. Start off by making a long picot preceded by double stitches and one double stitch after the picot.

	Load desired amount of beads onto neck of crochet hook. NOTE: hook has to be very small to do this with small beads. Hook at the tip of the long picot.
	Hook the tip of the long picot and slide beads onto picot.
	Join to the tip of long picot with the ring thread around hand and pull up and pass shuttle through and tighten as normal.
	Beaded picot will look like this.
