Pincushion Exchange with Marisa Statler
Here is the lovely and creative pincushion Marisa made for me. It is a clay pot
that has been sponge painted. Then a tomato pin cushion is inside. She then
tatted an edge to go around the rim and a small doily on top with a large whole to
pass the strawberry thru. It is very cute and I am happy to own such a creative piece. THANK YOU Marisa!

This is a pattern of my own. I had fun with this exchange. The bottom is of fabric covered cardboard.
the dome shaped back is of styrofoam and polyfil, and the legs, head and tails are stuffed with bean pellets.
A simple hexagonal doily covers the top and a simple ring and chain edge around the turtle.
And then to top it off, a cute butterfly.
