It was wet and cold when Ring finally decided to connect back up with Chain.
  Swallowing her endless pride she eagerly rushed back to the cozy little basket-like home
she had been sharing with Chain.  Rounding the corner, anticipating the happy
joining, she was shocked to see Chain with what looked to her like, yes, OTHER
RINGS!  Oh no, she thought now what am I to do?  Hesitantly she edged her way
to her front porch.
  "Ch-chain" she called, "I'm back, who is that with you"?  "No one, Ring" he replied
jubilantly.  "It's just me, but I've changed"!  "When you left I was desolate,  I didn't
know what I was going to do with myself".  "Then, when I was feeling so low I
thought I'd never cheer up, SCMR  suddenly appeared - like magic.  She helped
me to realize that I could do amazing things and still be the same old me."  Ring
looked at Chain in total disbelief.  "Well", she spat out, "just exactly how did she make
you realize that, when I've been trying to do the same thing forever"?  After several
minutes of thought he finally replied "I don't know Ring, but I do know that you and
I are meant to be joined together.  Can you ever forgive me for not listening to you"?
Just then, SCMR appeared and said in a tantalizing voice, "I can do the same for you
Ring.  I can help you reach your full potential, show you things you never thought
possible".  Oh no, thought Ring, this is too much and fluffing her threads with now
wounded pride, Ring raced into her room knowing that she was starting to come apart.
Sure enough, the unthinkable had happened while she was listening to SCMR,
knots - knots everywhere.
 
Will Ring find a solution to her predicament; will she be able to get out those dreaded
knots.  And, will she be able to do it in time to save her relationship with Chain.
