This motif is a design of my own. It combines my two favorite needleworks, tatting and bobbinlace. I like to incorporate different techniques that are out of the norm. It is a challenge for me. I used Coron size 160 cotton for the tatting part. Then I pinned it in place on the pricking. I used Broder Machine size 50 for the bobbinlace part. The inside paisley oval of the large flower part is done in cloth stitch with a CS edge pair using a total of 9 pairs(bringing in and taking out pairs when needed at the skinny end). The scallop edging around the paisley is done the same way with the CS edge pairs using 5 bobbin pairs. On the leaves I made HS ground with WS edge pairs using 6 bobbin pairs, bringing in and taking out pairs at the tips.
I think it looks quite the way I imagined when I first drew it up.
